Chartstage have recently been awarded a contract to run fully funded training courses in Torbay and Plymouth around Skilled For Health. Skilled for Health is the national programme that combines essential skills with health improvement. It aims to address both the low skills and health inequalities prevalent within traditionally disadvantaged communities We are going to be running 2 week courses 2 days a week for anyone 19+ who is not in employment, training or education. The courses are free and a lot of fun and as well as building confidence we have lots of progression routes for individuals for training and potential employment. We tackle issues around smoking, alcohol, getting active, registering with Doctors and Dentists etc and so it’s really practical confidence building stuff, in the morning and physical activity in the afternoon.

We just want to make sure all our bases are covered and ensure all Torbay partners know.  I want to make sure as many local people as possible can benefit from this as it’s all free!My name is Kate Wilson I am  based in Paignton but was wondering if you could forward onto any key people who would like to be made aware or possibly be involved with us. My phone number is; 07824640232 I have also attached information for your benefit, and a poster for possible clients.
